Proposal year: 2022

According to the Housing Element Law issued by California Department of Housing and Community Development, each local government, including San Gabriel, should adopt housing plans to meet the housing needs of all Californians. 

According to the "6th Cycle Housing Element" document, the city of San Gabriel was looking to this plot on S. Gladys Avenue to potentially develop low-income housing. Therefore, as homelessness has rapidly grown in LA during the past few years, we created the Gladys Avenue Proposal, to propose a feasible plan for San Gabriel to provide housing for individuals in need, as well as successfully uphold the Housing Element Law.
